The teams should be at the BLACK BOX THEATRE in Lynnwood by 7:45pm. Show starts at 8:30pm

 How it works:

• - Each team should consist of not less than 2 performers. No maximum this year. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO PLAY ON MULTIPLE TEAMS.

• - Team will gather on stage right.

• - The MC will do his/her thing, explaining to the audience about the scoring, etc. Teams will be introduced  and cross to stage left.

• - The MC will ask the "team captain" from each team to take the front of the stage for the TOSS-UP CHALLENGE.

• - The TOSS-UP WILL HELP DETERMINE THE ORDER of the teams.

• - TIE SCORE - In the event of a tie, a toss up type sudden death tie breaker will determine the winner.

The challenge begins…

• For round 1 of the night, the MC will issue a challenge. Each team in this set will have to abide by the challenge in some way. It'll be fairly open. Example, the MC may challenge you to a scene involving a current event, then every scene in round one would need to incorporate a current event. If it's a "cow" challenge then every scene would need to be influence or inspired by "cow" whether it's a literal scene, metaphorical scene, or a game... it's up to you. in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th scene set and up, the challenges are open.

• Each team can do what they want as long as it doesn't go over 5 minutes.* AT 5 MINUTES THE LIGHTS WILL GO OFF and the music will come on. The scenes can be as short as you want. Don't worry, there'll be a warning AT 4 MINUTES. *Round 3 is a 3 minute round.

• After each scene the AUDIENCE WILL SCORE in terms of applause.  The MC will ask a question like “does this scene deserve a 2?” 3, 4 and so on up to 5. Whichever number gets the loudest applause is the score given for that scene. The 4th and final set of scenes will be scored 1-10.

• WHEN YOUR SCENE IS OVER, SIT IN AUDIENCE STAGE LEFT.

• At the end of this show, you may do a group scene while the score is being tallied up.

• THE TOP 4 TEAMS ARE INVITED BACK FRIDAY DEC 23 at 8:30pm, FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND.

•   THE WINNING TEAM WILL RECEIVE A WOMB ESCAPE TROPHY!!
