HERE'S WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!
Many performers start at duos, honing their act before taking it out into the real world of professional improv and comedy.They may perform in festivals, produce their own shows, or develop and entire show based on their duo. Here are a few who've done just that!

The Traucers - 8/21/08
Kristen Rau & Tim Tracey - The first to branch out and
perform outside of Duo performing as a Duo at
On The Boards a few months later.

Army Men - 10/30/08
Tim Tracey & Tony Beeman - Army Men was taken to
a Portland Improv Festival in Apr '09 then developed into
full show with a cast of 10 in July '09.

DK & Morgan Show - 11/13/08
DK Reimner & Morgan Grobe took their duo on the road
and now perform regularly all over the country! They are
members of Upfront Theater in Bellingham, WA.

Super Mega Art Show - 2/5/09
Dartanion London & Graham Downing - Since they've
 done thier duo they've traveled all over playing festivals
and other professional shows across the Northwest.

Honkey Tonk - 2/12/09
Elicia Wickstead & Tim Tracey - developed this show which became
an ongoing improvised play using a cast of 8.
 
Pee Pee - 4/09/09
Jay Hitt and his 3 yr old daughter Caitlin
They took their act to America's got Talent and made it
to the upper level auditions getting moved to stand-by.
The producers were worried Caitlin wouldn't be able to
handle a crowd of 5000.

Hope that it's Funny - 10/29/09
Audra Goffeney & Joey Gilmore played at Bumbershoot
in Sept 2010.

She Spot - 1/21/10
Lauren Skelton & Laura Turner have been playing festivals
and producing their own shows since the inception of thier
duo.

Way Old School - 1/21/10
Joel LaBahn & Georgi, an 89 yr old Comic!
Although Joel and Georgi never did anything together
beyond this duo, it was still worth mentioning
since Georgi performs stand-up comedy and is
the oldest person ever to perform at one of our
Duo Showcases!

Stack of Bils - 3/17/10
Greg Stackhouse and Michael Bils got caught
on a video performing one of the funniest scenes
to date in the style of Shakespeare. Because of
this video, these men have been requested to perform
at many corporate functions, fundraisers, and other
outside events all over WA!

MacWillie - 4/14/10
Alec MacPherson & Wilfred Padua - After their duo
they started the improv group Human Prop which plays
on a consistent basis at the Odd Duck Studio.

Ask Pearl & Morty - 4/28/10
Shira Wilson & Dave Clapper Perform regularly
all over Seattle. Dave has also been instrumental in
moving forward with a show called Mash Up which
combines improvisers from all over Seattle to work
together.

Homance - 5/19/10
Elin Guttormnsen and Tiffany Swanson took their act
outside of duo and performed at the Odd Duck as
a couple of outlanddish country girls on 1/22/11!

America WOW! - 7/28/10
Ahsan Butt & Zak Nelson - Since thier first Duo They
have been headlining their own show at the Odd Duck
giving other great duos a chance to open and perform!

Car-Ski - 7/28/10
Jennifer Cargil & Erin Pilschke, Husband and wife,
moved from the improv scene in Chicago and
discovered Duo night here in Seattle.
They've since been performing all over Seattle in shows
festivals. Erin was a member of the funny and popular Pimprov
from Chicago!

Scarves & Stripes Forever - 2/9/11
Alina Gibitz & Mario Gomez used music and silly songs
performing their act at the Odd Duck after working on it
at Duos.

Friends With Health Benefits - 3/17/11
Elin Guttormnsen & Eric Kostenbauder
They performed in the 2nd Duo tournament but to gear up
took thier act to the Rendevous, opening up for a band 3 days
earlier (3/14). They were a hit! They went on to win the 2011 Duo Tournament!
